Micronclean Wins a Gold Green Apple Award
BlogSustainabilityMicronGreenNews20.11.2024Micronclean is pleased to announce that, at the recent Green Apple Awards ceremony held at Kensington Palace, we won, alongside our partners, a National Green Apple Award in the Science, Technology, and Aerospace - Partnership Category.
This award recognises the 2024 Micronclean CLEAN Award Challenge for Schools, which we developed and delivered in conjunction with our partners, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Greater Lincolnshire LEP. The CLEAN Award Challenge was targeted at Key Stage 4 children attending local schools in Lincolnshire and gave the students involved a snapshot of plastics in our environment. It then challenged them to come up with innovative solutions to help combat issues with plastics in our workplace and environment.
“This is a fantastic result for the whole team involved in putting together the 2024 Clean Award Challenge,” said Sophie Harris, QSHE Associate Director at Micronclean. “I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work in putting the challenge together, including our partners at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Greater Lincolnshire LEP, alongside all our staff at Micronclean. The next stage for all of us is to make the 2025 Clean Challenge even bigger and even better.”
